Northam Flying Competition

Each month on the second Sunday the Northam Aero Club runs a low key flying competition. Sometimes it will comprise a variety of circuits and other times a short cross-country navigation exercise. Regardless, it is always fun and the scones, muffins and coffee are delicious. SABC members are warmly welcomed to visit, either flying or driving in. Quite a few people drive up from the Perth area to participate, either by hiring the club 172 or hitching a ride in the competition with another contestant. Several SABC members are regulars and will vouch for the fun.

Northam has a single runway, a large collection of hangars and a maintenance facility. It's well worth a visit.
